Amanda Mendonca, currently serving as a Clinical Intake Specialist at Azure Acres, initially joined the team in 2023 as a Behavioral Health Associate. Alongside her role, she’s pursuing her CADC-I certification, reflecting her commitment to professional growth.
Her journey to Azure Acres reflects a diverse background. After graduating from Healdsburg High School in 2009, Amanda ventured into the financial industry. However, her entrepreneurial spirit led her to establish an LLC in 2021, offering commercial cleaning services across Sonoma, Napa, Marin, and Lake Counties. Excelling in her self-employed venture, she showcased her drive, attention to detail, and adept communication skills. Through this experience, she realized the profound impact of service on both others’ lives and her own.
Despite her success, Amanda sought a more meaningful path, drawn by her personal journey of recovery. Motivated to support others grappling with addiction, she transitioned into her current role, driven by a desire to restore hope and guide individuals toward sobriety.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Amanda is deeply engaged in her personal life. She finds joy in active involvement with her church, cherishing moments with her son, husband, friends, and family. Continuously expanding her horizons, she prioritizes education alongside interests such as Bikram hot yoga, cycling, and advocating for health and nutrition.
Excited to contribute to the Azure Acres team, Amanda looks forward to the enriching experiences and growth opportunities ahead.
